This group of sweaters is what I started with, over fifteen years ago.
They have grown and evolved each year. They combine traditional patterns
and my own designs to make unique classics future heirlooms. They
have been up-dated and improved, as I try new patterns or find different
ways of doing things.
Most of these sweaters are custom-made, so you can choose the style,
size, motif, yarn, and color combination. They have the traditional K2/P2
ribbing at the neck, cuffs, and bottom, often with a thin band of accent
color at the edge; but they also can be made with the more-contemporary
rolled hem, if preferred.
For children's sweaters, unless noted in the description, I use machine-washable
wools and cottons
- "Lamb's Pride Superwash" from Brown
Sheep Co. and
- "Cotton Classic" from Tahki/Stacy
Charles, Inc.
- "Country 8 ply and Encore worsted" from Plymouth
Yarn Co.
For adult sweaters, I use primarily "Lamb's Pride", but sometimes,
"Nature Spun", both from Brown Sheep Co.; and "Cotton Classic
II" from Tahki.
I offer certain color combinations, as seen in the pictures, but I hate
having to make the same one too many times, so I welcome your suggestions!
You can choose specific colors using the color chart from each company,
or offer suggestions; then I can choose what goes well together.
You can e-mail me and
talk about other colors available.
If you would like to place an order, simply click on the "purchase"
